Melinda Tsang is an attorney in the Betts, Patterson Mines’ Seattle Office in the Business Transactions Practice Group. She focuses her practice on estate planning, probate, and transactional matters. Melinda is dedicated to understanding the goals of clients, working through the law to achieve those goals, and helping her clients understand the process.
Melinda earned her Juris Doctor from The University of Illinois Chicago School of Law with a certificate in Elder Law and completed her Master of Laws in Taxation at the University of Washington. Prior to joining the firm, Melinda was an associate at a law firm in Chicago where she gained experience in probate, guardianship, and estate planning.
She has previously been appointed as Guardian ad Litem to serve as the eyes and ears of the Court. Melinda also has experience as a Trust Officer for a bank, acting as a corporate fiduciary in the capacities of guardian, executor, and trustee. She is compassionate in helping clients and beneficiaries understand the capabilities of an estate plan.
